Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi, Deputy Chairman of the European council for Fatwa and Research, issues the following fatwa:
“The Arabic word Qareen has two meanings. It may mean a friend or a companion, as stated in the following verse: “A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade.” (As-Saffat: 51) i.e. (I had an unbelieving friend who was trying to lead me astray during my life).
The other meaning of the word Qareen is the demon permanently assigned to each person during his/her life whose job is to seduce human beings. Allah Almighty says: “His comrade saith: Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he was (himself) far gone in error.” (Qaf: 27) i.e. the devil assigned to seduce him will say: “My lord! It was not me who seduced him at the beginning, but it was he himself who preferred blindness to guidance. So, I helped him achieve his goal through seduction.”
In order to increase their power in seducing people, demons may also take the shape of humans. One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying besides a column in the mosque. A devil came to him and tried to spoil his prayer but the Prophet took hold of him and wanted to chain him to the column so that people could see him in the following day. However, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set the devil free when he remembered the prayer of his brother, Prophet Solomon: “My Lord! Forgive me and bestow on me sovereignty such shall not belong to anyone after me.” (Sad: 35)
In another hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tells us that a demon is assigned to every human being: “There is no one among you but a comrade from among the jinn is assigned to him.” They (the Companions present in that occasion) said: “Even you, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Even me, but Allah granted me victory over him and he became Muslim (or: and I am safe from him), so he only enjoins me to do that which is good.”
In order to get rid of such demon comrade, one should continuously recite the Qur’an, particularly the verse of Al-Kursi (verse number 255 of Surat Al-Baqarah), and the last two verses of the same Surah. Ibn Mas`ud, may Allah be pleased with him narrated: “ I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the night in which he met the jinn at the presence of Gabriel. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was reciting the Qur’an while the devil was getting more closer to him. Gabriel said to the Prophet: “Would you like me to tell you some words that, when uttered, will make the devil walk prone (without seeing) on his face and will blow out his flame?… say: “ I seek refuge in the incomparable Glory of Allah that can not be violated by the righteous or the cunning from the evil of what goes into the earth and all that comes out thereof; all that comes down from the sky and all that ascends thereto and from the evil of night visitants except for good ones. You are the Most Merciful!” (when the Prophet uttered these words) the devil began groping his way and his flame got extinguished.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is also reported to have said: “When the Ghilan (the sorcerers among the devils) appear (in the form of visual objects), then say the call for prayer Adhan ( to protect you against their harm).”
Assalamu Alaikum!
Sorry for the delay in response brother.
With all due respect, whatever you have mentionned in your last reply falls off topic. Medication is fine but if it is not part of the teachings of Rasulullah (pbuh) then we can not invent our own medicine and add ingredients as we wish. That will be a serious sin as known as bid’ah.
What I asked you about was regarding your
“Recite darood 11 times, and then 11 times sura-e-nas and then 11 times darood, and repeat this after every namaz/prayer.”
^ The above, you said was “issued by Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi, Deputy Chairman of the European council for Fatwa and Research”
But that does not specify the dalil behind his fatwa. We can not just accept any fatwa anyone or any ‘mufti’, ’sheikh’ gives without any proof from the Quran or Hadiths from our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Whoever gives a fatwa must provide dalil (proofs) as to why s/he believes reciting “darood 11 times, and then 11 times sura-e-nas and then 11 times darood, and repeat this after every namaz/prayer.” will solve the jinn issue. Why 11 times?
And you by posting this without showing the dalil behind this will only get people to follow something that may or may not be sahih. If the latter is true, then it will deviate a person and lead to bid’ah. And may Allah save us from that and help us to stay on the pure path without deviating.
Bid’ah is like fake currency that tries to drive out the good currency. By design it has the appearance of a virtuous religious act. But it lies outside the Shariah.
If you have the proof, then please provide it so we can all benefit from this and get rid off jinns from those unfortunate enough to be in the situation BUT if you don’t have the proof then please brother, for your and our ummah’s sake, do not promote this type of information.

With the help of Quranic verses, getting someone rid of jinnat’s custody
AS SALAMU ALLAIQUM
If someone is being controlled by the jinn, and he believes that it is the case with him, because it often happens that when such a person is brought near some amal to rid him of jinnat, the jinnat hide at that moment so they cannot be scared away. And the aamil think that there is nothing wrong with him, and then the person has to go to doctors and he gets tired of trying to find a cure for himself. Such a person should do as follows:
Recite darood 11 times, and then 11 times sura-e-nas and then 11 times darood, and repeat this after every namaz/prayer. Keep doing this till the jinn leave the person alone. And even after the person rids himself of the jinn, he should keep repeating this process because the jinn may come back. He may also recite ‘ayat-ul-kursi” with it. If the person feels that the jinn are apparent, then he may consult some amil, otherwise he can continue this recitation.

The above which you have mentionned to do, do you have any dalil to prove where you got that from? The Quran or from the Sahih Hadiths of the Rasul (pbuh)?

But brother I do not think it’s wise for us to follow what one man decides and tells us as to how many times a darood or surah should be read and how it should be repeated after every salah. Because our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never said anything as such. If it is not in the Quran or the Sunnah of our Prophet (pbuh), we should not follow it. Because how could this man decide whether 11 times would suffice and not 12 or 13? We have to be careful as our ummah has already been injected by innovations.

My Brother, how and why do you accept the medication from even the world’s best doctor for any cure? Why and how he suggest that one need to take this medicine two times or three times for cure? This is not written in quran or any hadiath? Can you give me any hadiath or a verse of quran which says quinine is the proper medication of Malaria?
Now, the person who suggests the cure is all depend how much you trust the person. Allah talk about ‘Allah’s friend’ who are those peoples, those becomes ALLAH’s friend? There are peoples those spend their life praying for ALLAH for his kindness for his attentation not for the heaven not for the paradise but for ALLAH’s sake. ALLAH do listen to those peoples, I tell or maybe if you heard then for reminder;
Source: Prophets of Islam by Ibn khatir
One day a women visit Prophet Moosa (you might know Prophet was the first prophet who use to talk to ALLAH directly) she asked him that as you talk to ALLAH ask him to give me a baby? When at night Prophet Moosa spoke to ALLAH he asked the request of that woman to ALLAH, and ALLAH replied to him that I didn’t wrote a baby in fate of that women. Next day Prophet Moosa replied to women that ALLAH’s answer, the women gets so dishearten. Anyway after couple of years Prophet Moosa happens to meet that woman again and he saw a baby in his hands. Prophet thought she must have adopted this baby meanwhile a women come to him and tell him that you said ALLAH didn’t wrote a baby in my fate and ALLAH has bless me with this baby.
At the night Prophet Moosa asked ALLAH you told me you didn’t wrote baby in her fate and she have baby now, ALLAH asked moosa to change your clothes and go to every home of your town asked them anything for the sake of ALLAH. Prophet went and knocked at each door beg and asked for the sake of ALLAH give me some meat. Nobody gives him, he went back then ALLAH asked Prophet Moosa now go to out of your town in Jungle there is a small home beg their. He went and beg at that door, a man comes out but was in very terrible situation (like he is hungry and didn’t had food for many days) Prophet Moosa asked him the meat for the sake of ALLAH, that man asked him to wait here and went inside and comes out again with the piece of meat when Prophet Moosa looked at him he actually cut his piece of body from thighs and gave to Prophet Moosa.
Then ALLAH said to Prophet Moosa, that how I can reject the Dua of this person for that that woman, who has given you even his own part of body when you asked him for my sake.
My brother, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, and other Friends of ALLAH (Awliya Allah, Sahabahas) told us many verses of quran to recite for spiritual cures. You can go through ahadiath books and you will infact most of those ahadiath with sources you will find on my blog.
